Who can use Shupavu?
School administrators, teachers, bursars, parents, and support staff. Each user has personalized access based on their role.
Is Shupavu cloud-based?
Yes. You can access Shupavu securely on any device with an internet connection — desktop, tablet, or phone.
Fees & Payments
How does fee collection work?
Schools can collect fees via mobile money, bank transfer, or card. Receipts are issued instantly and transactions are auto-reconciled.
Can parents track fee balances?
Yes. Parents can view payments, balances, and receipts via their portal or SMS notifications.
User Roles
What roles are available?
Shupavu supports roles like Administrator, Principal, Bursar, Teacher, Parent, Student, and Support Staff.
Can I assign custom permissions?
Yes. You can enable or limit access per role — for example, allowing bursars to manage only payments and reports.
Academics
Can I upload student results?
Yes. Teachers can enter exam marks or assessments. Parents and students can then view the results.
Does it support report cards?
Yes. The system generates report cards based on your school's grading and term structure.
Communication
Can the school send announcements?
Yes. Use in-app messages, SMS, or email — all from the dashboard.
Do parents need smartphones?
No. Parents can receive SMS updates even without internet access.
